Having crossed the English channel from Calais to Dover we will not only visit the capital London but also Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham and Liverpool. Our stay in the northernmost part of the United Kingdom will start with Edinburgh, the capital. All those cities will be different from the highlands we visit in the remainder of the tour.

You will see small manufactures and museums in the countryside. You will hear myths, sagas and legends, see small manufactures and museum in the countryside and experience some “odd” people. Visit one or two castles and walk their wonderful gardens. You will learn about whisky and about the people with their clans and traditions. Enjoy a beautiful wild and romantic countryside in the highlands.     

The tour leader will give you sufficient information, so travelling on your own after tour end is not a difficulty.

The ferry tickets are open enabling you to stay 6 months in the United Kingdom.

We are arranging a membership for a British Camping Club for you. This enables you to use club sites and gives you special deals – also during your individual stay.

There are certain restrictions for camping vehicles in Great Britain: (max. width 2,30m / caravan and max. length 7m /caravan, motorcaravans may not exceed a length of 12m).
