It is already the tenth time we are conducting this long distance tour to Egypt, North Africa and the countries of the Middle East. The "Adventure North Africa” includes a considerable amount of individual travelling freedom for the active traveller.

The arrival on the African continent is an experience of a completely different culture. The traditions and customs are essentially different from our European standards. The places of old culture, historic country sides and oriental life however, are unforgettable impressions.

This tour starts now officially in Palermo on the Italian Island of Sicily from where the group will cross the Mediterranean to Tunisia. Anyone wanting to start in Florence may join the group leader in a plus programme. In Libya we will not only stick to the coast but will do a detour into the desert area.

Travelling along the North-African coast for a while then up-Nile you will reach Cairo, Luxor and Assuan, where the main attraction are the old Egyptian Pharaoh tombs from Gizeh to Abu Simbel. Over the Sinai Peninsula and then taking a ferry to Aqaba, we reach Wadi Rum and Petra in Jordan. It’s on from the Dead Sea going to Damascus and the ancient Aleppo in Syria to the Turkish border. In beautiful Cappadocia, inviting to stay longer, this tour ends.

In case you prefer not to travel through Italy there is the option to take the ferry from Genoa to Tunis.

Ferries schedules are often changed at last minute, so be prepared that the tour dates could shift/prolong or shorten by one to two days. We thank you for your understanding.

Participants:
Min. 16 pers., max 30 pers.
In the case that the minimum number of participants is not reached the cancellation of the tour is possible up to 8 weeks prior to tour start.

Specific Vehicle Requirements:
Regular motor caravan, that can be self sufficient (water, electricity, wc) for a minimum of 3 days.

Tour prices are graduated prices depending on group size, i.e. with 20 participants:
EUR 4385,00 per person with own camper when two person travel in one vehicle.
Single person supplement with 20 participants EUR 805,00
