This compact trip has Alsace, Lorraine and Burgundy as its destination. From the division of the Frankish Empire in the 9th century to the Second World War, these regions changed their rulers frequently and today still combine the best of all influences.
Even metropolises like Strasbourg, Dijon and Nancy still have something medieval, almost village-like about them. Historically important sites such as the Besançon fortress and the Hôtel-Dieu in Beaune offer interesting but not dry history. Monuments such as the Place Stanislas in Nancy or the palaces of the Dukes of Burgundy will impress us - as will various museums and factories.
The local cuisine, good wines and spirits in a beautiful ambience prove that eating and drinking is an important part of the culture in France.
As always, the program of this tour shows you the most important sights, but also offers the opportunity to devote yourself to your own interests. You can deepen cultural aspects, go exploring or just relax; just as you like it.
